Day 6 – Scenic Drive Along Old Cutler $
March 16th, 2010 Categories: 365 Things To Do In Miami
I still remember fondly the very first time I took a ride along Old Cutler Road. The scenic route impressed me to no end. The ancient Banyan trees inspired me to learn more about them, their canopies spreading magnificently overhead.
Take a ride on historic Old Cutler Road. It is arguably one of the most scenic drives in all of Florida, right here in your own backyard. You’ll travel through Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay. I always pick it up on Eureka drive but that’s because I live in South Dade. If you’re to the north, start your drive where Old Cutler Road begins at Cartagena Circle and head south on your majestic drive.
P.S. Even during rush hour, the drive is a delight, but attempt rush hour only if you have time on your hands.
