Pinecrest Trader Joe’s Busy Opening Weekend

The Pinecrest Trader Joe’s opened its doors to the public on Friday. I tried to stop by Saturday afternoon so I could check it out and report about it here. What a disappointment!

Trader Joe’s wasn’t the disappointment, the traffic was. LOL I was across the street, on US1 heading south trying to turn so I could make a U-turn into their parking lot. There were about 12 cars trying to do the same. As I looked across the street at the cars already heading into the Trader Joe’s lot, I saw that it was just as busy.

Change of plans! I got out of the turning lane and headed to Kings Bay for some pastries at the French Bakery instead. I will make another attempt during the week when business should be a little slower. At least I hope so! Stay tuned.
