Come to Jungle Island on Saturday and help kids out at the same time.  The ING Miami Celebrity Domino Night is back by popular demand and is hosted by Amigos For Kids , whose mission is to eradicate child abuse.

The event features live music, dancing, silent auction and of course, domino playing.  Help them out by showing up!

Day 36 – Free Steakburger @ Evos $

The first Evos to open in Miami-Dade is finally opening today in Pinecrest.  The chain is unlike most fast-food joints in that it’s food is healthy. (healthier?).  Fries are not fried, but “airbaked.”  Burgers come from steroid free beef.  Their chicken is free of antibiotics.  What a concept!

So go ahead South Florida, enjoy your all-American food without the side of guilt.  And this weekend only, in celebration of their grand opening, you can get a free steakburger.  Print the coupon here.

Day 35 – Redland Orchid Festival $

This weekend marks the 14th annual Redland International Orchid Festival.  The festival features over 60 orchid vendors from around the world and across the U.S.  It is held each year at the Fruit and Spice Park in the Redland.  Admission is only $7 and free parking is available.  Nice!

Day 34 – Dolphins Cheerleaders Finals Aventura Mall $

Here’s something you can’t do everyday.  Attend the final tryouts for the selection of the Dolphins Cheerleaders for the coming year.  It’s held at Aventura Mall and last year thousands showed up (spectators, not candidates).
