I hired Property Tax Savers of Miami. Last year they successfully got the assessed value on my South Beach condo reduced 95k, resulting in a $2500 deduction in my 2007 tax bill.

For the 2008 tax bill, Miami increased the assessed value by over $160k from the revised 2007 assessed value resulting in a $20k tax bill for a 2br condo! This completely negates what I paid Property Tax Savers to do last year, and I have to hire them again to do the same job.

How does the city get away with this and how can I fight without having to pay a company to do the same job over and over and over?? Plus, I have not had 1 late mortgage payment but this ridiculous tax bill is going to throw me under the bus!
